gemini....a special pony

i felt gemini was feeling a little low today and so we did some horse whisperering/communation or had a little chat. we sat quietly for a while and i spoke of things that were on my mind and asked him what was on his.......carrots came the firm reply......pardon.....carrots . so i duly went to the shops and returned with a big bag of juicy carrots... he has not been out on the grass recently and i think he was wanting something moist......clever pony...bless him

taiga when ready to go to new home

Taiga became the most beautiful looking horse....cleveland bay/ t.b. and at 2 he wanted to be let free to become a horse and lead a normal life....he was the best therapy horse i have ever had as his communication skills were so exact and he loved to give something back to those like him who needed help. Taiga you will aways be in my heart and you taught me so much. i hope you can teach others the way of the horse....

taiga as a yearling

Taiga at 14 months. he stayed with me until he was nearly 2 and became a big strong lad, against all odds and professional thought.....i began to realise as he grew in health and strength, that our communication was becoming stronger and that his needs were to become a horse and not think of himself as a human....

taiga as 3 month old foal

i have allowed myself to realise today how much i still miss Taiga. he came to me as a 3 month old foal with dead eyes and terror in hsiheart. we nearly lost him..he became my son and soul mater and we talked for many month and red many book together before he could accept and let go of some of the deep trauma in this short life
